RRG 230 Intro to In-Situ Gamma Spectroscopy
Students will learn how HPGe portable spectrometers (RIIDs) collect and produce spectra for quantitative field measurements. Emphasis will be placed on the application, use, and data transfer of portable gamma spectrometers. The course will include a review of gamma spectroscopy and PeakEasy and how they apply to in-situ gamma spectral analysis.
