RRG 225 Interpreting Gamma Spectra with PeakEasy
Students will learn how to use PeakEasy software to review, analyze and interpret gamma spectra. Emphasis will be placed on using spectra from portable spectrometers to identify radionuclides. The course will include a review of gamma interactions with matter and their impact on spectra and discuss the limitation of portable spectrometers.
