RRG 220 Gamma Spectroscopy for Responders
Students will learn how portable spectrometers (RIIDs) collect and produce spectra and how to interpret the results. Students are assumed to be familiar with the basic operation of RIIDs, so emphasis will be placed on understanding how to get the best data from them, with emphasis on collecting the best information for any reach-back staff.
