Training Courses

Emergency Operations Center/Exercise Expectations EOC/EE

This training is a rehearsal of the activities that will take place in County or municipal EOCs during an actual nuclear accident response or an exercise. A list of persons who should attend is found in the IPRA Manual located in the County ESDA office/EOC or the Municipal ESDA office/EOC. Individuals most frequently listed include: Head of Government, ESDA Coordinator, Dosimetry Control Officer, Fire Representative, Police Representative, Municipal Water/Streets Representative and School District Representative. Each County/municipality will have a specific date and time for this training. If a specified representative is unable to attend, their designated alternate must attend. It is expected that EOC representatives be knowledgeable of the basics of IPRA, therefore, we recommend attending emergency worker training prior to the EOC training. (NOTE: this class is not a substitute for other EOC-specific training classes offered by IEMA & FEMA.)
